Zuri and Ambitious Air Mobility Group Complete Investment Agreement to Support Hybrid VTOL Development

Following the signing and completion of the transaction, Zuri has finalized an investment agreement with Ambitious Air Mobility Group (AAMG), alongside a binding conditional order covering both passenger and unmanned variants of Zuri’s hybrid-electric VTOL.

This milestone supports the next phase of Zuri’s development program, including the accelerated advancement of Technology Demonstrator 2.0 (TD 2.0) and continued work toward the company’s final aircraft configuration.

A shared approach to development and validation

The agreement reflects a shared view on the role of regional air mobility and the importance of disciplined execution in the development of new aircraft platforms. Zuri’s Hybrid VTOL program remains in a development phase, with current efforts centered on advancing TD 2.0 as a critical step in validating system architecture and integration concepts.

Technology Demonstrator 2.0 serves as an integration platform where multiple subsystems are brought together within a representative aircraft configuration. This includes the coordinated integration of hybrid propulsion components, energy management and power distribution systems, and tilt-rotor assemblies. The objective is to evaluate how these systems interact under controlled conditions before progressing further toward the final aircraft design.

In parallel, Zuri continues preparatory work on the final aircraft configuration. This work is informed by demonstrator results and aligned with anticipated certification and operational requirements, supporting continuity between experimental validation and the eventual production aircraft.

The conditional aircraft order supports longer-term planning as technical, regulatory, and operational milestones are achieved.

Perspectives from the agreement signing

Following the signing of the agreement, representatives from Ambitious Air Mobility Group outlined the considerations behind their decision to work with Zuri.

A short excerpt recorded at the time of signing captures AAMG’s perspective on the aircraft and the factors considered during its evaluation.

AAMG also described the basis for its participation.

“Ambitious Air Mobility Group is not a traditional equity investor. Where we do participate, it is in companies where we are also our own customer. That is central to how we approach these engagements,”
Robert Kamp, CEO, Ambitious Air Mobility Group

From Zuri’s perspective, the agreement reinforces collaboration with an organization engaged across the broader air mobility ecosystem.

“We value AAMG’s approach because they bring more than capital. Their broader network and engagement across the air mobility ecosystem provide important context as we continue developing the aircraft,”
Michal Illich, Founder and CEO, Zuri
