One roof, every discipline.

Zuri builds hybrid-electric aircraft: the uncrewed cargo VTOL first, a certified six-seat passenger aircraft after it, and one architecture under all of it, proven by TD 2.0, now in ground test. Design, electronics, manufacturing, and flight test share one building near Prague. You will see your work fly within months, not careers.

Embedded software developer, medior/senior

We are looking for enthusiastic Embedded Software Developers who are excited by the opportunity to help develop Zuri, a hybrid VTOL aircraft. If you are not afraid of demanding technological challenges and have a passion for learning new things, we want to hear from you. Previous experience in aviation is not a requirement; we are happy to teach you everything you need to know.

As part of our Electrical Development Team, you will:

  • Develop control firmware for in-house designed hardware used in avionic applications.
  • Create firmware for testers and support tools used to validate our electronics.
  • Define specifications, bring up prototypes, and troubleshoot bugs in close collaboration with our HW developers.
  • Analyze firmware performance on real hardware, including debugging and optimization.

What we expect from you:

  • Proficiency in C for bare-metal source code development.
  • Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with standard peripherals (SPI, UART, CAN).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work with component datasheets.
  • Experience with lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).

Great to have (Bonus points):

  • Experience designing reliable or safety-critical embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of a high-level language for support applications (ideally C#).
  • Understanding of electronics at a schematic validation and HW debugging level.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience with MISRA coding standards.

Hardware designer, medior

Become part of the electronics development team for a new hybrid aircraft.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a HW Developer with experience in electronics design who already has several of their own projects under their belt and can independently design an electronic circuit from the schematic to bringing the board to life.

You don't need to know everything. More important than knowing every single technology is the ability to think critically about the design, look for solutions, and learn new things.

What we expect from you

  • Experience in designing both analog and digital electronics,
    Knowledge of power supply design,
  • Experience with STM32 microcontrollers or other ARM MCUs,
  • Knowledge of communication buses (CAN, SPI, UART, I²C),
  • Experience with PCB design,
  • Ability to independently bring up and diagnose prototypes,
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, lab power supply, multimeter, logic analyzer, thermal camera),
  • Basics of embedded development in C/C++.

What is an advantage (but not a requirement)

  • Experience with Altium Designer, KiCad, or Autodesk EAGLE,
  • Power electronics design,
  • Design of electronics for harsh environments (vibrations, EMC, temperature),
  • Automotive, aerospace, or similar development experience,
  • Experience with high-voltage electronics,
  • Simulation of electronic circuits (LTspice, PSpice, Multisim, etc.).

What you will do here

  • Design custom electronic circuits for a hybrid aircraft from initial concept to bringing a functional prototype to life,
  • Participate in schematic and HW architecture design,
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and SW developers,
  • Troubleshoot issues found during testing,
  • Propose changes to increase reliability, reduce weight, and improve manufacturing.

What approach we value

We don't judge developers by the tools they use, whether it's Arduino, STM32CubeIDE, or AI assistants. What matters to us is that you understand what you are designing. We are looking for someone who can work with datasheets, analyze problems, verify results, and propose their own solutions. Modern tools are great helpers, but they won't do the technical thinking for you.

Hardware designer, junior+

Kickstart your career in electronics development for a hybrid aircraft

We are looking for someone who already has their own personal projects or early commercial experience in electronics development and wants to become a true HW engineer.

You don't need to know everything. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys understanding how electronics work, loves to experiment, and wants to learn from more experienced colleagues.

If you've built your own devices at home, designed PCBs, programmed microcontrollers, or tackled your own technical projects, that is exactly the kind of experience we are looking for.

What you will do here

  • Participate in the design of electronics for a hybrid aircraft,
  • Design simpler schematics and PCBs under the guidance of senior colleagues,
  • Bring up prototypes and troubleshoot issues,
  • Perform laboratory measurements,
  • Assist with electronics testing,
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and the testing team,
  • Learn power electronics design and designing for harsh environments,
  • Be part of developing a real product from the initial design all the way to flight tests.

We appreciate someone who isn't afraid to open a datasheet, search for information, and come up with their own solution. If you use modern tools in your work, including AI assistants, that is absolutely fine. What is important to us is that you understand what you are designing, know how you arrived at your solution, and can verify its correctness.

Where is the job based?

At the Prague facility, in one building where design, electronics, manufacturing and flight test all sit together. That is the point of the place: a change can be drawn, made and tested by the same people in the same week, rather than crossing a supplier boundary and coming back a month later.

What would I actually be working on?

Technology Demonstrator 2.0, which is in systems integration and ground test now, with first flight planned for Q2 2027. After that the flight-test campaign expands the envelope from hover through transition to cruise, and what it proves becomes the uncrewed cargo aircraft. More than fifteen aircraft have flown here since 2018, so work reaches the air in months rather than careers.
