Q: What should I call the aircraft?

The product is an uncrewed cargo aircraft , or a cargo VTOL. Every flight is remotely piloted : one operator in command from the ground, with automation handling the flying. TD 2.0 is a technology demonstrator , the machine that proves the architecture, and it is a different aircraft from the product built on it.

The paragraph

Zuri is a Czech aircraft company building a long-range uncrewed cargo VTOL: helicopter access with fixed-wing range, hybrid-electric, remotely piloted. It delivers 100+ kg of cargo, or deploys the sensors and communications a mission needs. It is designed and built in Europe on an ITAR-free supply base, for civil and defense logistics.

What should I call the aircraft?

The product is an uncrewed cargo aircraft, or a cargo VTOL. Every flight is remotely piloted: one operator in command from the ground, with automation handling the flying. TD 2.0 is a technology demonstrator, the machine that proves the architecture, and it is a different aircraft from the product built on it.

Where is Zuri in its program right now?

Technology Demonstrator 2.0 is in systems integration and ground test in Prague, with first flight planned for early 2027 and first deliveries of the cargo aircraft in the 2027 to 2029 window.
