Zuri is a Czech aerospace company developing the Zuri Hybrid VTOL, a hybrid-electric aircraft combining vertical takeoff with efficient wing-borne cruise. It is designed for regional missions underserved by current transport options.
The program is privately funded, with multiple investment rounds completed since 2018.
Zuri is opening its Series A round.
Following the public debut of Technology Demonstrator 2.0 (TD 2.0) at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, this round funds its completion, the flight test campaign in late 2026 and early 2027, and continued work toward the final aircraft.
TD 2.0 integrates propulsion, energy management, electrical power distribution, and tiltrotor assemblies in a representative configuration. Test results inform final aircraft design and align with anticipated certification requirements.
Private introductions and additional materials are available upon request.
The Zuri program has progressed from concept through full-scale flight test, and is in integrated aircraft build.
Achieved to date:
TD 2.0 is in active build and integration.
This round accelerates the program to TD 2.0 first flight:
More than 30 letters of intent signed with prospective operators across multiple regions and use cases.
The Zuri Hybrid VTOL serves routes and missions beyond the reach of conventional aviation.
Operates from vertiports and other aviation facilities. No airline-scale airport infrastructure required.
Connects regions where conventional aviation is limited by infrastructure, cost, or routing.
Built for routine regional missions with consistent utilization, scheduled or on-demand.
